Grand Kalash Fountain

About this piece

A large kalash in the classic pot form, its shoulder ringed with perched parrots picked out with red beaks, and a deity relief worked into the body. Water rises through the domed lid and runs down the carved sides into the round footed base. Ceremonial in feel yet compact enough for a console or entrance table.
